Attendance Update

School News

Whole school attendance from September is currently 94.52%.
Last weeks whole school attendance was 93.56% which is really disappointing.

Special Mentions
– Well done to Year 7 who had the highest overall attendance last week with a great effort of 95.86%, the Y8’s were not far behind with 95.62%.
– Year 7 attendance to date went up slightly to 95.5% this still puts them at the highest in school, the Year 8’s are still looking to take over as the best attending year group in school with their current attendance sitting at 95.42% from September.

– Well done to 8.6 (second week in a row) and 8.5 who both had 100% attendance in their forms last week, a fantastic effort.
– Not far behind with attendance over 97% were 8.4 (for the third week), 8.7, 8.8, 7.2, 7.3, 7.8, 9.4 10.1 and 10.4, can you get 100% next week?

PA Update
We currently have a group of GOPA (Get Out of PA) students who have attendance of below 90% which makes them Persistent Absentees (PA). 56 of these students will be able to increase their attendance to over 90% this half term by having limited/no days off. From the group of 56 students 39 had 100 % attendance this week which is fantastic, well done to all.

100% Attendees
– We currently have 271 students who have not had a day off since September, this is a great achievement.
– 611 students still haven’t had a day off in Half term 3 and have had 100% attendance for the first 4 weeks, lets see if they can maintain this throughout the full term.

Remember every day in school counts.
