Restart a Heart Day ❤
On Wednesday 16th October Rawmarsh Community School took part in the Restart a Heart campaign (RSAH) initiative led by the Resuscitation Council (UK) in partnership with The British Heart Foundation, British Red Cross, St John Ambulance, and Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
We were one of 65 schools across Yorkshire taking part. This initiative aims to improve the low numbers of people surviving out-of-hospital cardiac arrests by training as many young people in life-saving CPR.
The day was an amazing success with all Y7 & Y8 students (over 400 students) receiving CPR training.
A massive thank you to the volunteers for supporting this event.
