Zak has recently had a very successful competition in Spain at the Spanish Open 2022 competitions. Zak came away with a bronze medal in his 1st ever G2 European competition.
On the way to the semi finals he beat the Spain national team in his 1st fight, in the quarterfinals he beat the top seed from the Bulgarian national team. In the semifinals he was up against the Israel national team – unfortunately Zak had to pull out due to an injury.
Zak’s achievement/medal is fantastic news on his journey for selection for the world championships – we are very proud of him here at Rawmarsh – congratulations Zak!
