On Wednesday 18th May the students who had participated in US in Schools Mentoring programme attended a graduation event at the University of Sheffield.
The evening was a chance to reflect on their experience of and engagement with mentoring and to celebrate their success as part of the programme and what they have achieved with their mentor over the past year.
We would like to congratulate all the students who participated in the programme but a special mention to Harrison Toyne who was awarded mentee of the year and Molly Bibby who received runner up mentee of the year.
Well done, you truly have demonstrated the Rawmarsh Way values by working hard and never giving less than your best during the sessions, taking risks and rising to the challenge of the programme, being respectful and listening to your mentors and dreaming big with aspirations of university. You should all be proud of your achievements.
We hope the support, information, and guidance their mentor has provided, helps them make an informed choice about studying at Higher Education that will support their lifelong success.
