Year 9 boys score 7 in emphatic Cup win

Our Year 9 Boys Football team made a winning start to the new football season this week with an emphatic 7-0 victory over Clifton School in the first round of the Rotherham Cup.

A dominant first half display saw the boys go in at half time leading 3-0 which was a score line which didn’t reflect the balance of play and amount possession had by Rawmarsh throughout the first half.

A strong second half display saw another four goals added to convincingly wrap up the cup tie and see the boys in to the Quarter Finals where they will play away to the winners of Dinnington v Maltby.

The goals on the night were scored by Anthony Chambers 3, Mason Bailey 2. Robert Wishart and Sam Da Cruz.

An excellent all round team performance!

Well done boys!
