Y7 Football Taste Victory!

Our Y7 Football team tasted victory in their first game representing school this week.

In a closely contested game, our boys overcome Swinton Academy to triumph 3-2 on Thursday night. An early Jesse Moore strike was canceled out by a Swinton equaliser close to half time leaving the score 1-1 at halftime. A strong second-half display was needed and eventually, some extra quality from our boys shone through as they went on to triumph 3-2 with the pick of the goals being a long range strike from Harvey Cunningham.

Man of the Match – Isaac Burgoyne.

Well done boys! An excellent start to the season!
