Y7 Boys Enter the Semi-Finals

This week our Year 7 football team were victorious in their Rotherham Plate Quarter Final away against Wickersley School.
An all round fantastic performance saw our boys run out 1-3 winners on Monday evening and will now see them face St Bernards School on Thursday 9th March in the Semi-Final for a place in the Plate Final which is due to be played on Saturday 18th March at St Bernards School against either Dinnington or St Pius.

The win was largely down to a magnificent first half which saw Rawmarsh lead 0-3 at the break thanks to two goals from Jesse Moore and one from Captain Harvey Cunningham.
A second half penalty for Wickersley saw them claw one goal back but the performance from all of the boys on the night saw them see out the game confidently and comfortably to assure their place in the Semi-Final.

A big big well done to all boys who represented school! The squad was: George Stevens, Daniel Wing, Josh Kay, Chase Sadler-Ellis, Isaac Burgoyne, David Constantinescu, Harvey Cunningham, Jesse Moore, Thomas Hammerton, Jacob Rouane, Brad White, Rhodri Rollinson.
