Year 9 Round Up a Successful Awards Assembly Week

On Thursday, our week of celebrations for Academic Achievement this school year came to a close with Year 9’s Awards Assembly.

Over 100 awards were given out to our Year 9 students for Excellent Attendance, Subjects, Curriculum Support, Rising Music Star, The Governor’s Award, Outstanding Effort, The Rawmarsh Way, Praise Points, RCS Pledges, Anti-Bullying Ambassador, Endeavour Awards and finally the Top Students of the Year. We were also stunned with two incredible vocal performances from Kacey and Jessica, who took to the stage solo in front of all their peers to give their performances.

The amount of awards given out this year shows how hard our Y9 students have been working in lessons. The success they have achieved both in and out of school is commendable, well done Y9. We are looking forward to seeing the same level of effort being applied across your Y10 studies next year.
