Last week, our Year 8 and 10 girls’ rounders teams took part in the Rotherham Tournament!
Y8 played amazingly well. Their fielding was strong with some great catches, and they hit some fabulous shots to score rounders. They were incredibly close to securing a place in the finals day, but missed out by half a rounder. Well played girls!
Y10 girls played in their Rotherham Schools Rounders Tournament in Wales on Thursday. It was an extremely wet and cold evening but the girls were great. It was a close fought tournament with three teams finishing on the same points. It went to count back on rounders scored and Rawmarsh qualified, and therefore will be at rounders finals day on the 6th July, good luck Y10.
