Y9 Childcare Story Sacks

This half term in Childcare, Y9 have been learning about types of play.

As part of this, they have created some story sacks. This is a collection of items in a bag that can be used to support and extend the telling of a story, they offer a multi sensory approach to the reading process, and help develop children’s literacy skills.

When the story sacks were complete, they held an anonymous vote and the top three went through to the final, then Mr Conlin then selected a winner!

The top 3 were:

⭐ Alyssa Battersby – Goldilocks and The Three Bears
⭐ Olivia Abbott – The Rainbow Fish
⭐ Millie Hickman – Little Red Riding Hood

The winner was… Millie Hickman!
