Y9 Continued Football Success!

This week, our Year 9 football team continued their unbeaten start to the season with a comfortable 5-1 away victory at Wickersley!

The game saw four boys making their debut for school; Kieran, Obanijesu, Jacob P, and Ezi-Kia and three others making their first appearances of the season; Alfie, Jacob R, and Joel.

With the scores at a level 1-1 at half time after Rawmarsh had taken the lead through Josh’s 9th goal of the season, the well deserved victory was down to a strong second half performance, with two goals from Tom, a Zane header and an own goal.

Well done to all of the players who represented our school so well on the evening, and whose level of effort, skill and dedication was excellent!
