RCS Y7 Spelling Bee

This half term, students in Y7 have been taking part in an MFL Spelling Bee. There have been 3 rounds, and students were given 20 words to spell in French and Spanish from their Y7 vocab list – this was done as a classroom activity. The second round was a lunchtime activity, where the successful spellers from round one had to show correct spellings on whiteboards. The final round took place in front of an audience. This was a buzzer round with contestants spelling out loud.

Well done to Rhiann, Grace, and Leo for taking part in the final, and to Mitchell for being our first Spelling Bee winner. We look forward to doing this with other groups throughout the year!
