A beautiful sunny day today. We spent the morning covering as many runs on the mountain as possible.☀
The intermediate group were bombing down blacks like professionals whilst the beginner group are now able to parallel turn down the reds.
This afternoon was timed slalom races, they all had a practice run to plan their routes before their timed race.
They all got top to bottom without any falls. It was lovely to hear them all encouraging each other and cheering each other down the course. The commentator said that one of ours was the fastest he had seen all day, watch this space for results……
Unfortunately the afternoon ended with a trip to hospital with a suspected broken leg, after a long wait in A&E, I am pleased to report it was not as serious.
This evening the rest of the group went for hot chocolate and cake/ice cream, which I was told was amazing😍
1 more day to go and apparently the sun is going to shine again.
