Y10 Duke of Edinburgh

Recently, our Y10s completed their Silver DofE qualifying expedition. Based in the White Peak area of Derbyshire, the students camped at Barn Farm in Birchover and walked through Lathkil Dale, the Chatsworth Estate, and along Froggatt, Curber and Baslow edges. They also passed through the villages of Baslow, Rowsley, and Darley Bridge. They had warm, sunny weather which made for tough walking conditions. A number of students struggled with hayfever, and one or two were carrying previous injuries, however all rose to the challenge and were a credit to the school.

Well done, Y10!
