Y9 DofE Bronze Expedition

On possibly the hottest day of the year, a group of our Y9 students set off on their DofE Bronze Expedition. They were well prepared with sunscreen, hats, and regular water breaks at the checkpoints. They coped really well with the conditions, making sure they were well hydrated and weren’t slowed down by the heat at all. They have been researching local historical buildings and en route they visited some, including Hoober Stand, The Needle’s Eye, and the Wentworth Churches. They also had enough energy left to play cricket at the campsite.

Well done, everyone!
