As part of Year 6’s ongoing personal development during Rollover 2025, students at RCS took part in a vibrant and action-packed day of extracurricular taster sessions on Thursday 17th July. These sessions are designed to introduce students to the broad range of enrichment opportunities available at RCS, giving them a taste of what they can get involved in when the new school year begins.
Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to try out a diverse mix of activities, including music, dance, cricket, games, football, climbing, table tennis, rugby, netball, science, art, drama, and even Colourtok! The atmosphere across the school was filled with energy, excitement and curiosity as students threw themselves into new experiences and challenged themselves to try something different.
It was fantastic to see such high levels of engagement and enthusiasm. These sessions are a key part of WPT’s Enrichment Promise, ensuring that all students have access to inclusive and inspiring opportunities that support both their academic and personal growth.
We hope these taster activities have inspired our new Year 6 students to get involved in the extracurricular programme when they join us fully in September 2025. Well done to everyone for making such a confident and enthusiastic start to life at RCS!
