Y7 French Cafe

Mr Miller and Miss Qaddar would like to say a huge well done to the amazing Year 7 students who took part in hosting the French Café this week!

The café was a brilliant celebration of French culture and language, and the students truly impressed with their enthusiasm, teamwork, and professionalism. From setting up the café to taking orders in French and serving up delicious treats, they threw themselves into the experience with confidence and a fantastic attitude.

Items on sale included French favourites such as croissants, pain au chocolat, jus d’orange, and madeleines, with all proceeds going towards MFL rewards and future enrichment opportunities. Not only was this a chance to practise language skills, but it also helped supports the Trust’s wider curriculum aims of building cultural awareness and confidence.

A special shout-out goes to Aiden, who really went the extra mile with his costume – fully embracing the French theme and adding an extra bit of flair to the event!

It was a joy to see so many students involved, demonstrating independence, communication, and creativity – all key skills we aim to nurture across our curriculum and as part of the WPT Enrichment Promise.

Très bien!
