Today, we’re celebrating our incredible Year 11 students – congratulations to you all on receiving your GCSE results!
You have consistently embodied the School Way, and your hard work, resilience, and determination have truly paid off. Whether in school or outside of the classroom, you’ve made the most of the wide-ranging opportunities provided through the WPT Entitlement and Enrichment programme – from the Duke of Edinburgh Award and school productions to sporting competitions, leadership roles and community engagement.
The grades you have received today are a reflection of this, and they will be a milestone in your journey and open up so many exciting opportunities – whether you’re continuing with further study, starting an apprenticeship, or exploring a new path entirely.
Mr Conlin, Headteacher at Rawmarsh, said: ‘I’d like to congratulate each Y11 student who has received their GCSE results today. We’ve had a huge number of outstanding grades in a range of subjects, with some students achieving multiple grades above their likely targets. It was great to experience the buzz in our Main Hall when students attended and opened their envelopes. The fact remains that continued hard work always pays off. Congratulations to you all – we wish you the best in the next stage of your careers!’
