Porto Football Tour – Day 5

As you are all reading this we are all safely back home and resting after our busy few days in Porto.
We have experienced training in 3 different venues, 2 matches, a tour of the stadium, a museum visit, a tour of the city, bowling, quiz night, Rawmarsh on tour mass football and the famous all you can eat buffet at lunch time.

It has been both a busy and rewarding few days, the students have done themselves, their families and the school proud and really made the trip for us staff. They have been great company and given us 5 days worth of laughs and smiles. I hope everyone has enjoyed it as much as we have and you now all enjoy your second week before we are back to work at school. A big shoutout to Mr Duckworth for organising the trip and giving our students the opportunity to make these lasting memories with their friends.

I will leave you with a few questions we are still left pondering as we end our tour.

  1. Does A Hickling have everything or has he left something behind?
  2. Has J Moore ran out of energy yet!?
  3. How did C Fenton do that card trick? Is he really a magician
  4. Has Mr Mather found the shade?🤷‍♂️
  5. More importantly have Mrs Shaw and Mrs Hamshaw found the sun?☀
  6. Is A Finlayson the king of the cross bar challenge?
  7. Was it a penalty?
  8. And last but not least will the U16 squad ever be able to complete a full game?🤔

That’s it from us for this year, get some well deserved rest (we will be) recharge and we will see you all next time☀⚽
