On Friday 17th October 2025, we hosted our annual Sponsored Walk – a much-loved WPT tradition that brings our community together to raise funds for both a chosen charity and for our school.
This year, students had the chance to vote for the charity they wanted to support, and their chosen cause was Cancer Research UK. In the lead-up to the event, students learned about the incredible work the charity does, such as funding life-saving research, supporting those affected by cancer, and helping to improve treatment and care for people across the country.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the 8-mile walk! It was truly a whole-school effort, with every student showing determination and positivity along the route. A huge thank you also goes to our amazing staff, who helped marshal and supervise throughout the day to make the event safe, enjoyable, and rewarding for everyone involved.
