Y10 Silver DofE Expedition

This week, a group of our Year 10 students completed their Silver DofE qualifying expedition. They were lucky with the weather, enjoying blue skies and sunshine during the day, although it turned quite cold at night. Their routes took them through both the Dark Peak and White Peak areas, across moorland, and along Froggatt Edge, Curbar Edge, and Baslow Edge. They also passed through the Chatsworth Estate and the ancient Nine Ladies stone circle.

Throughout the expedition, their effort and behaviour were excellent. Despite the challenging journey, they even had enough energy left for a friendly football match against another school. Well done to everyone involved!
