Last week, as the nights began to draw in and temperatures started to dip, Year 11 completed their final Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition of the season. The Silver group took on some challenging routes through both the White Peak and Dark Peak areas of the Peak District National Park. Their journey took them through the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, following footpaths through river valleys, farmland and open moorland, as well as along the spectacular edges of Froggatt, Curbar and Baslow.
It was a fantastic challenge and a great way to round off the expedition season. Well done to everyone involved!
