This week has seen us hold our Annual End of Year Awards Assemblies for Years 7-10 to celebrate their academic success and achievements for this school year.
On Wednesday, Year 8 showed us how hard they have worked this year with some fantastic awards being given out for Breakthrough Music, Outstanding Effort, Anti-Bullying Ambassador and many more during their End of Year Awards Assembly. We were also treated to two wonderful performances from Y8 students, first from Isabelle and Mufaro who wowed the audience with a vocal and guitar duet, followed by an upbeat rendition of ‘Future Husband’ from Miley and Jessica.
Further awards were given out to students for Excellent Attendance, Subjects, Curriculum Support, The Governor’s Award, The Rawmarsh Way, Praise Points, RCS Pledges, Endeavour Awards and finally the Top Students of the Year.
Congratulations to all Y8 students who received an award for their effort and commitment to their school learning and community this year. We are looking forward to seeing the same level of dedication to your studies next year and to celebrate even more achievements next summer.
