On Wednesday 29th November, four Y11 History students had the pleasure of meeting two Ex Rawmarsh students, Dave Smith and Dave Wright, now in their 80s, as part of the Parkgate 200 project organised by local Historian Anthony Dodsworth.
The students interviewed the gentlemen about their time at RCS and their working and social life in Rawmarsh and Parkgate- including their jobs at the Parkgate steel works and chemical works.
The students were a credit to the School and loved hearing the funny stories and details about their local area from the past. Well done Ellie, Blake, Harrison and Molly.
