The Salvation Army Reverse Advent Calendar

Throughout December, students have partaken in a ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’ to embrace the meaning of the festive season by giving instead of receiving. We asked for non-perishable food and gift donations for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal – a big thank you to parents/guardians for your extremely kind donations and support of this good cause; a massive well done to students who decorated hampers for the Gift Appeal.

When Miss Keogh dropped off the donations, they said: “Thank you so so much to RCS for such a lovely donation of food, toys & gifts for our Christmas hamper & gift appeal. It is all so really appreciated & will certainly help us to meet the need in our Community this Christmastime.”

A big well done to all involved in promoting the charitable events this year to date and making them such a success.
