This week, our Y9 boys football team started the season off in style with a comprehensive 14-1 away victory against Oakwood School!
In an all round dominant performance, the boys comfortably saw out the game with keeper George being rarely tested. Pleasingly, standards and the will to win never waivered throughout the match with all players giving 100% effort right up until the final whistle!
The goal scorers on the evening were Josh (6), Thomas (4), Kian (2), Jesse and Harvey.
The boys will be hoping to keep up their fine start to the season with two fixtures next week; at home to Brinsworth on Wednesday, and then away to Bolsover School on Thursday, in the English Schools Cup.
