RCS Student at the WMAC World Games

RCS student, Evie, is part of the Kazoku Martial Arts Team, and she practises Bo Staff in the Weapons Team. She has been working super hard for years, and has already had two absolutely incredible achievements so far this year!

Yesterday, she competed in the WMAC World Games Qualifiers in Stafford, and she placed 2nd in creative weapons kata, and 3rd in musical weapons kata. As she earned two podium finishes, she’s earned a place in Team GB for the WMAC World Games in Hull, in September! She has also been invited to compete for Team GB in the World Games in Tuscany, Italy in October.

She has been working so hard on the run-up to the competition, and even when she was exhausted she still gave 100%. Amazing work Evie, you should be extremely proud of yourself!
