During the half term break, Rawmarsh students had a fantastic time on their trip to Chateau du Broutel in France. During the visit, students explored Boulogne-sur-Mer and its Sea Life Centre, learned how to make chocolate in French at a local chocolaterie, and even made their own bread in a village bakery while following instructions in French. They also visited Amiens, where they toured the stunning Amiens Cathedral and experienced a local hypermarket.
Throughout the trip, students fully embraced every opportunity, taking part enthusiastically in the evening activities and making the most of their time abroad. Their behaviour, attitude, and willingness to get involved were outstanding, and they were a real credit to both the school and their families. We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part, and can’t wait to start organising another trip for next year!
